Heriquity
Privacy Policy and Legal Notice
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
Important notice: Heriquity is a support tool for wealth and estate planning. All information, calculations, suggested distributions and reports generated by the app, including the estate planning report, are for reference only and do not constitute professional legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Before making binding decisions (wills, deeds, tax filings, etc.), we recommend validating your plan with a licensed attorney, notary, accountant or financial advisor. Heriquity and Kengo SpA assume no liability for decisions made solely on the basis of information generated by the app.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Kengo SpA, Chilean tax ID (RUT) 78.130.517-0, with registered address at Camino San Francisco de Asís 150, Vitacura, Chile (hereinafter "Heriquity", "we", "us"), is the controller of the personal data collected by this application.
For any questions about this policy or to exercise your rights, you can write to us at contacto@kengo.cl.
2. What data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, country of residence, preferred currency.
- Wealth data: assets, liabilities, insurance policies, information about your family group and beneficiaries, and the allocations you define in your estate planning.
- Documents: the files (photos, PDFs) you attach to your assets, liabilities or policies.
- Authentication data: password (never stored in plain text) and, if you enable two-step verification, the information required to validate it.
- Technical and security data: device identifier and access logs, used solely to protect your account.
- Data from third-party sign-in providers: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the name and email associated with that account, according to the permissions you grant at that time.
We do not collect geolocation data, your device contacts, or browsing activity outside the app.
3. How we use your data
- To create and maintain your account and show you your wealth information.
- To generate calculations, reference legal diagnostics and the estate planning report.
- To auto-fill fields from a document you choose to scan (optional feature).
- To send you operational communications about your account (e.g. confirmation of security changes).
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to requests from competent authorities.
The legal basis for this processing is the performance of the service you request by using the app (contractual relationship) and, where applicable, your explicit consent (for example, when enabling AI document scanning or third-party sign-in).
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising purposes. We share information only with providers that help us operate the app, under their own confidentiality commitments:
- Supabase (database, authentication and server functions): hosts your account and your wealth information.
- Anthropic (Claude Vision): if you use the "Scan document" feature, the image is securely sent to this provider solely to extract the document's data; it is not used to train AI models and is not retained by that provider beyond processing.
- Google / Apple: only if you choose to sign in with those accounts, for authentication.
- mindicador.cl: we query public exchange rates (UF, US dollar, euro); no personal data is sent to this service.
5. Where your data is stored and for how long
Your account and wealth information is stored on Supabase servers. The documents you attach are encrypted and stored locally on your device (they are not uploaded to our servers): the encryption key lives exclusively in the operating system's secure storage (Keychain / Keystore).
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from Your profile → Your account → Delete my account, your data and the encryption key for your documents are permanently and irreversibly deleted.
6. How we protect your data
- All information is encrypted in transit (TLS).
- Your documents are encrypted at rest with AES-256 before being saved on your device.
- You can enable two-step verification (TOTP) from Your profile → Your account.
- Internal access to data is restricted to staff who need it to operate the service.
7. Your rights
Under Chilean Law No. 19,628 on the protection of private life (and its update, Law No. 21,719), and under the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users within its scope, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data (right to be forgotten).
- Object to specific processing of your data.
- Portability: request your data in a structured format.
- Restrict processing in certain circumstances (GDPR).
You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app (edit your profile, delete assets or documents, delete your account). For any other request, write to us at contacto@kengo.cl; we will respond within the time limits set by applicable law.
8. Minors
Heriquity is not intended for people under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or in applicable law. If the changes are significant, we will notify you within the app.
